150 Gems of Irish Music for Flute Grey Larsen Books Reviews
I have purchased Grey Larsen's and Fintan Vallely's Irish Flute tutors and found the latter by far the better of the two. It is much easier to read the straight forward written music (in my opinion) than to memorize the symbols representing Crans and Cuts ect. As for style or interpretation as to how a piece should be played appears to depend on what part of Ireland one is from and can be learned later.
Great book!
Larsen has done it again. What an incredibly useful book for those who love to play Irish flute.
